[7:24:09 PM] Peaches: Suddenly the floor beneath Edgar's running feet started to tremble; around this next curved corner was where the attacking ship was tearing a hole through the hull. The glass began to shatter under Rosy, though still being held together by its core of metal. She called out, confused at this strange development in the situation; ahead there was some smoke bellowing out of the cracked material, and the whole pattern of smooth surfaces started to give way into rubble. Ceenos leapt forward at Rukuskarukas, but she spun around expertly, and avoided yet another of his attacks; she is far too troublesome, he thought, to not be one of our ranks. Why was it that she was fighting him? She obviously had an abundance of passion and fire in her; that would be hard to control all of the time, so why would she choose the other side. His faction was much more understanding about power, and knew where to put it to good use. Ceenos' thought was cut off, as he was nearly sliced in two by Rukuskarukas' swords; he only sustained a minor graze, thankfully, but it still hurt. The fire around them grew hotter as he started to be worked back up to fury again. Keruus glanced behind her at the flames; her and her combatants had strayed quite a ways from it, but she wondered for a moment how Ceenos was faring. "Shouldn't you be worrying about yourself?" The smaller of the two started to taunt again; apparently having gained enough courage to try and attack the towering Keruus. The larger man hadn't let up much, and got in a couple of good hits while she was momentarily distracted. "Yeah, you should pay more attention." She called out again, lunging in for a blow of her own.

[7:35:26 PM] Edgar Algae: Edgar kept his footing, as the floor kept shaking. "But what is happening?" He asked himself, before looking to his right, where more smoke was beginning to come out from the smooth surface, as the metal cracked under him. The furry alien began making some noises. Edgar supposed she had became scared. Against his better judgement he returned. "Fluffy thing... uhhh... I can help you go back... to your... ummm... masters?" He said, as he suddenly appeared in front of her, with his hands extended. He crouched, to appear as friendly as possible. "I can help you, ok? Just trust me, Fluffy thing."

[8:01:52 PM] Peaches: Rosy growled at Edgar, having not stopped in her chase; she considered for a moment, the smoke, and now fire licking its way through the floor ahead, but kept coming. The glass around shuddered, and metal began to give way to the gnawing of the attacking ship; the hallway looked a little smaller, as the outer wall was being crushed inward. This still did not stop Rosy; she was determined to barrel right into Edgar, because she knew that her master would save her from any repercussions. The floor shattered under her; fragments of metal and glass flew everywhere, as a sudden torrent of fire bellowed from the beneath level. Rosy let out a faint whine as she fell the good twelve feet below, and hoped that the green lizard had fallen into the fire. Roast lizards are the best, she thought, but was disheartened as the flames were all but extinguished in this hallway by a nearby man. He was tall, like many of the others, had golden scales, and no hair to speak of other than a mohawk running across his head. He paused, looking at rosy; she had hoped to see her master, but he was nowhere to be found. She was confused, and sat down with an expression that mirrored her emotions. Ceenos was, in fact, a few rooms past them; his flames had reached all the way down that hallway, thanks to Rukuskarukas' natural amplification of them. The fight that was left in him was still great, but things were winding down; his motions were getting sloppy, and so were his opponent's. She hadn't expected him to put up such a fight. Keruus danced around the adjacent room, teasing her attackers with a soft smile; this was indeed funner than she had previously thought.

[8:21:42 PM] Edgar Algae: Edgar managed to grab on to the hallway, as a part fell, with the creature. He looked down, and once he saw that she was safely sitting on the ground, he pulled himself up, with some difficulty, until he managed to place his full body over the broken hallway. Well, the part that wasn't destroyed. He took a deep breath, and closed his eyes, before noticing that in front of him stood a man, with.. golden skin? He quickly stood up, and grabbed the hilt of his sword. "No funny business, alright?" He eyed the man up and down, and stood still, ready to fight back if it was needed.

[8:44:12 PM] Peaches: The man with golden skin looked over to Edgar and the badger creature for a moment, eyeing them with his large pupils, but said nothing. His short tail swished behind him as he held a broadsword upright, as if to indicate that he would fight if it were necessary, and Rosy started to growl. She had suddenly turned aggressive again, but decided to rush past them both instead of put up a fight. The man looked after the furry creature, but didn't move, instead he turned nonchalantly to Edgar. He had a steady breath; his pointed lips held no intention of saying anything, either, but he was ready if there was to be a fight. He knew that he was a strong warrior, and he didn't need words or fancy footwork for that. Rosy leapt down the hallway, following the scent of crackling fire in the air, and grew excited that she would see her master again. Ceenos had gotten in a few good hits, but Rukuskarukas' skin bounced back without blemish. Or perhaps it was just her natural coloring that hid her cuts, he pondered. She hummed with determination; the flames around them ebbed a little, reflecting that their energy levels started to dwindle. Keruus smirked condescendingly, kicking one of her opponents in the face. She was sort of proud of herself, having learned through so many years of solitary confinement how to see the future in it entirety; it was quite simple, actually. Though perhaps not as simple as she thought; in the following moment, an invisible attacker came up on her from behind and stabbed her in the chest. A sigh escaped her in aggravation. "Despite what you may think-" The smaller of the three enemies went back to her taunting. "You are not all-powerful." It was then that the aura of hopeless defeat turned into a glorious victory, and the three smiled to each other. Keruus was determined to continue fighting, but she had been impaled on her side, and was now stuck to the invisible one's sword. She frowned with a humph, and folded her arms like a little child who'd be caught in a lie.

[9:11:43 PM] Edgar Algae: Edgar frowned at the stranger, as he began to walk past him, with his hand still near his hilt. He wasn't looking for a fight, and if he couldn't help him, he would find someone who could. Or at least he hoped that. Because, if he couldn't, then he would have to return. But for now, he still knew that there had to be someone else inside the ship, besides the aliens he had already met, right? The Argonian sighed, before he ventured too far, and turned his head back to the golden alien. "Are you with the fire-spitter, the eater, the girl, and the fluffy thing, sir?"

[9:34:04 PM] Peaches: The golden-colored man had kept an eye on Edgar as he passed by, but remained casually nonchalant; remaining in his silence. Keruus sighed, leaning coolly on the hilt of the sword that was stuck in her, as she was carried back toward the hole in her ship's hull. Rosy had continued down the hallway, and knew when she had arrived when her fur began to scorch. She let out a yelp, and Ceenos looked around Rukuskarukas in order to see her, and his flames diminished. This gave his opponent the opening she needed to get a good attack in; the crack of bone was heard, and the fire ceased altogether with the yelp of Ceenos. He had been defeated, but remained still alive, and his blood dripped across the blackened flooring. Rosy had charged in this moment, but paused as she examined Rukuskarukas' face; she knew her. "How could you do this??" Ceenos spat in the direction of his enemy. Rosy flinched at the sound of her master in distress, but padded softly toward the woman who had defeated him, and moaned low. The woman was so familiar; like something from a dream, or when she was a baby. Ceenos frowned, having expected his pet to attack the red woman, and then he remembered. The reason he had known things about Rukuskarukas wasn't that he had heard stories or about her reputation; he had seen her before. "Oh, how are you, little Rosy." She had turned away now, leaving her sword in him, and reached to pat the large badger creature on the head. "My, you have grown, huh?" It was then that it hit Ceenos; this woman, this great adversary that had given him one of the best fights of his long life, she was his sister. Meanwhile, as Edgar turned to greet the golden man again, he turned with his sword drawn, as before, and just stared at the green one; without a single word, or hint at his intention.

[9:58:47 PM] Edgar Algae: Edgar furrowed his brow even more. "Yeah, I dunno why I think you would act differently." He kept moving ahead, this time with his mind focused on finding someone else to help him. And if other people didn't help him, he figured out that maybe the aliens that he had met earlier could be of use. Maybe he had problems with the fluffy pet, the fire-spitter, and the eater, but the girl seemed to be alright. Maybe he could speak to her, and, hopefully, she would be more civil, and willing to help him. He sighed. "I just hope it works..."

6/26/15

[3:10:39 PM] Sunnyshine: The golden man had shrugged with his continuous nonchalance, but turned to follow Edgar; his movements were not aggressive, but his sword was still drawn. Before the Argonian could get much further, two more people came walking down a connecting hallway in front of him. They were identical twins, with blonde ponytails that leaned opposite ways, and held each others hands while smirking. They had pale yellow skin with a hint of pink, and they stood just shy of the green one's height. Frowns came over them both as they saw Edgar, but then their smiles returned as they glanced over at the tall man behind him. "Teasing people again-" The one spoke, but the other finished. "Are you Kull?" They both chuckled while looking back at the Argonian, tightening their grip on each other's hands. Down the hall a ways, Keruus had sighed again; the sword in her was uncomfortable, but not painful. The one who had impaled her obviously knew anatomy quite well, and had a great eye for precision. She still couldn't see him, being invisible, but felt the tug as he handed his sword over to the larger man. "Great job, Scricc." The previously-taunting woman gave him a look, and elbowed the air, not knowing exactly where he was. "No big thing." A garbled response came; his voice almost sounded like the buzz of lights mixed with someone tapping on wood. It was a rather peculiar experience for her; she supposed that he had a certain genetic mutation that didn't allow for her to see his future, because she was still blind to him. "No, seriously-" The large man reassured the invisible one, as he rested the second sword on his shoulder; sending Keruus to sit up there with it. "We were baked if you hadn't come back around when you did." Meanwhile, Ceenos had lifted himself up from the floor; on his knees now, and pulled on the two swords that had been left in him. They had gone very deep, and it probably was best that he couldn't get them out. Rukuskarukas patted Rosy on the head as if she was her rightful master, and the badger creature hummed in contentment; almost like she had forgotten about Ceenos bleeding out a few feet from her. The golden man who had followed Edgar had paused; apparently Kull was his name, but he didn't say anything in response to the two people who had addressed him. "Don't give me that look-" The first of the twins started again, and the second continued. "You know what we mean when we say-" The first laughed in their words. "You have a habit of awkwardly staring at people." They both then huffed a little, thinking that he was just being silly. "It's not like-" The first twin began a sentence again, and the second finished. "We haven't brought it up before."

[3:23:22 PM] Edgar Algae: "Uh... I-... uh..." Edgar, by this moment, was very confused. He couldn't make out who was who of the two twins, and he felt uncomfortable with the golden man following him. "I-I need an explanation..." He lightly touched his head. Probably, he shouldn't be so impressed, with what his eyes had seen before, but he was. "W-Where I am? And who are you?" He pointed to the two twins, and then to the golden man behind him. "And you?" He turned around. "Where is the fire-breather, and the girl, and the fluffy thing? And the eater?" He quickly set his gaze back to the twins. "Why did they want me as food, or dead? Do you also want to fight?" As he talked more, he began sounding more desperate. "How do I get back to my land? And to my house?"

[3:48:26 PM] Sunnyshine: Kull let out a sigh, and sheathed his sword without a word; his belt held it firmly on his hip. The twins released each others hands with a shrug, and the first began to speak with Edgar; this one's voice was a touch deeper than the other's it seemed, though it hadn't been that apparent when they spoke together. "I'm Fey." He said to the green one. "She's Mae." He pointed to the second twin, who had come over to Kull and started patting him on the head. "Oh, don't worry about this little guy-" She started, and Fey continued. "He's pretty harmless, unless threatened." Mae chuckled, finishing their thought. "And you're pretty much the least threatening thing in this place right now." Kull had smirked at them both, and nudged Mae's arm with his own so she'd stop petting him; she knew he didn't like that, but insisted on doing it anyway. She was making a silly face, teasing him, while starting to stroke his head with both of her hands now. "As to your questions." Fey had rolled his eyes at his sister, and waved in the air to indicate the surrounding ship, turning back to Edgar now. "You're on a frigate class ship in the middle of Falooi space." He mumbled, shaking his head. "As for these that you mention, they've been taken into custody by the Unification of Planets, or whatever; I'm new at this." He had then looked over to his twin sister, who had gotten bored of messing with Kull, and was now standing with a hand on her hip. "Yeah, you got it right." She nodded, grabbing Edgar's shoulder gently and aimed to pull him down the hallway. Rosy had been reconnecting with Rukuskarukas, and didn't notice when a few more people showed up in the room. Keruus huffed from above, and looked down at Ceenos; he was still bleeding a little, but the blades had blocked off most of the arteries for now. He would have to get them surgically removed, and then stitched up, before they sent him back to prison. Quite an escape this had been, he grimaced at his own stupidity, but mostly blamed Keruus.

[4:10:57 PM] Edgar Algae: Edgar began walking, gently pushed by Mae. "So... what is a Falooi space? Did I enter some kind of new dimension?" He asked, as he watched the girl with the corner of his eye. "Did I die? What is a frigate? Who are the Unification of Planets? What is a planet?" The Argonian began bombarding the woman with questions, both curious and somewhat scared "Where are you taking me? Are you going to eat me too?" He kept asking, without leaving any space for Mae or her twin to speak.

[4:34:15 PM] Sunnyshine: Mae paused with a frown; a little taken aback by the green one's rambling. "New dimen-" She repeated, and then sped up a little; the other two had been following on their heels, a little confused themselves about what was going on. The twins' mental connection was only strong when they were touching, but Fey didn't want to prod in his sister's mind right now; she was too focused. "Hey Ruku!" She yelled out as soon as they had reached the room were the fighting had commenced moments before; she shoved Edgar forward forcefully, so that everyone could see him. "Lookit what these turdmuffins brought with them through the gateway." Her voice was an almost scolding tone, mostly directed at Keruus. Ceenos coughed as a woman lifted him off the floor; she had been the one taunting earlier, and was a well built person with an angular face. She smirked at the relatively still man in her arms; he was very lightweight, but a little lopsided now because of the swords stuck in him. "No other sign of life on the decks." Fey had added, being faithful in his duties, as the last person made their way back to the hole in the hull. She had lighter red skin, as well as a brunette mohawk, and she shook her head to mirror Fey's report. Rukuskarukas had stopped petting Rosy now, who moaned in contentment, and went to grab Edgar on the collar of his clothing. "Is this true?" She asked him with bared teeth; her piercing eyes making their way over his appearance. Keruus chuckled softly, keeping that he had accidentally came through to herself; the one who held her up seemed to tremble. "Haha!" His loud voice boomed. "Well I guess there is a prize in every cereal box, huh?" The invisible one prodded him in the ribs. "Mustard..." He spoke in a hushed buzzing tone, indicating that he, too, should be quiet.

[5:13:38 PM] Edgar Algae: Edgar frowned, as he was thrown inside the room by Mae. He felt like some kind of exotic creature, being displayed to a bunch of potential buyers. And the worse thing, was that he was beginning to like Mae. She seemed kind of nice. But not anymore. Before he could reciprocate, however, he was roughly grabbed by a woman with red skin, that was showing her teeth to Edgar. He was getting tired of this. Quickly, he grabbed his sword, and placed it near the throat of the woman, before she could even react. "Yes. I am real. And if you don't stop threatening me, I'm going to show you how real I am by observing if your blood is as red as your skin. I'm no prize, nor trophy for any of you to treat me like this. And even if I am an exotic beast for you, I have feelings, and I can speak just as you do. You decide, miss." He glared at her, ready to react if it was needed.

[5:37:16 PM] Sunnyshine: Rukuskarukas' skin began to burn again; flames licking their way up to Edgar. She was completely undaunted by the creature and his words, not to mention his blade that she could melt without a second thought. "Are you threatening me?" This was almost laughable, even with his blade on her neck; she pondered, motioning to the fallen Ceenos and the impaled Keruus after tossing Edgar away from her like a piece of garbage. She sneered at him, a smile threatening to form; Mustard, who held the aforementioned Keruus, put a hand on the red one's shoulder and motioned toward the hole in the hull. Their entryway was now fully visible, as well as their own ship that surrounded it; the two crafts now looked as if they were bubbles that hadn't quite merged all the way, but the sound of ripping metal had ceased. "This creature ain't worth the trouble." The large one's voice still remained loud, but respectful to his commander. Rukuskarukas flinched away, and glared right back at the Argonian; then motioned to Mae with a nod. Fey reached over to take Mae's hand, and they shared that bond once again; their energies seemed to hum for a moment, and then they held up their other hands to send out a sort bright blue light. It reflected off the small amounts of shining glass in the room; their hands aimed right at Edgar, it was a sort of paralyzing beam. It wasn't strong enough to incapacitate another one of their kind, but perhaps it would on this green creature. The person who held Ceenos seemed rather disinterested at the situation, and tugged on the scout's uniform. "So, Darletta, how old is this ship, anyhow?" She posed, knowing that she was a mechanic at heart, and the pale one smirked softly. "It's about five hundred years. Surprising, huh, that it's still running? Of course I could say the same thing about you, Charou."

[6:12:32 PM] Edgar Algae: Edgar winced from the pain of being thrown, and tried standing up again. It was then when he remembered that he also had magic, and could also cast flames. Maybe not as good as the fire-spitter and the red lady, but he could do it too. He chuckled. "I'm not impressed- I can do that too." He casted a small ball of fire on his hand, and was about to charge at the red woman, when he began feeling numb of his feet. Like they had suddenly stopped working. He fell to his knees, holding his body up with his sword and his other hand. "Ugh..." He began feeling that his neck hurt, and tried to move again, but couldn't stand up. "Y-You... y-you are... arghhh.... a-a c-cheater..." The pain just began to increase, but he wasn't going to just surrender. Not like that. He closed one of his eyes, and began crawling to the red woman. "I-I'm... I'm not impressed... it's only f-fancy magic... u-urgh..." He tried to throw his sword, but he didn't found the strength to, so he just kept on advancing, slowly, to the alien. "B-Besides... I-I w-would h-have w-won... i-if you hadn't step i-in... a-and attacked... I-I w-would have... w-won... a-against t-the f-fire e-eater." He suddenly stopped feeling his torso. "N-No... n-not until... I-I s-show h-her..." He began rambling, as he steadily advanced.

[6:25:41 PM] Sunnyshine: Rukuskarukas' smile faded; she was extremely unamused by Edgar's relatively pitiful display, and motioned to her team to move out. It was then that Kull picked up the green lizard, and tucked him under his arm like a bedroll; he was a very solidly built man, and even his skin was firm to the touch, like a rock. Mae and Fey were a little shocked by how Edgar had reacted, but moved with the rest of the group to the exit; the rest of the company followed suit, a couple holding others, and one pulling Rosy along. The hallway was a little small for the height of some of them, so they ducked through, and a door hissed closed behind them. This ship was a lot more refined; less wasted space, to say the least, and this new hallway held many fixtures on its wall. Ranging from artistry, and displays, to screens that held the scribbly language from before; there wasn't a whole lot of white-space. It was, in fact, Rukuskarukas' ship, and she never did like how their culture left things empty and blank all of the time, so she decorated however she liked. The hallway continued, and a large teleportation pad was ahead; she nonchalantly directed Rosy onto it. In a split second, the badger creature disappeared into thin air, and the commander motioned for the prisoners to be put on it next; including Edgar.

[6:52:42 PM] Edgar Algae: Edgar tried to pull himself away, but he finally surrendered to Kull's strength, although he still held his sword firmly. He felt defeated, and like a complete pushover. He should had attacked when he had the opportunity. That, however, wasn't his way of doing things, and he despised killing. He sighed, as he left his body limp, to signal his surrender. He closed his eyes for a moment, before hearing a strange, humming sound. He opened his eyes, and saw how the fluffy creature began disappearing, suddenly, as she stepped over a strange, plain zone. He began panicking somewhat, as the red woman told the rest of her soldiers to place Edgar, the woman, and the fire-spitter inside too. He tried to break free of the grip of the golden man, but he was too weak to even try and attack with his sword. He tried screaming, but only managed to hiss a little bit. "H-Help..." He tried calling for someone, but it was useless.

[8:11:15 PM] Sunnyshine: "Did you see how he responded; have you ever seen something like that?" Both Fey and Mae asked the man named Mustard in unison, as he tossed Keruus and the sword still lodged in her onto the teleportation pad. He made a pained expression, and swiped his hand at their's to separate them. "You know I hate it when you guys talk like that, my gosh!" He replied in his booming voice. "Yeah, it was a little strange, though; I hope he recovers." He shrugged, turning to go back to his normal routine on the ship. "Done here, right Cap?" He waved at Rukuskarukas while walking away, not really waiting for an answer; he needed to get the systems ready for hyperspace. Charou followed suit, leaving Ceenos on the pad as well, and following after Mustard with Darletta in tow; Scricc, however, was still nowhere to be seen, but was heard buzzing a tune down the opposite hallway. Such disorganization in her ranks, Rukuskarukas paused for a moment on this thought, and then stepped over to an adjacent telepad with a shrug; supposing that they were free to do whatever they wished, within reason. She was not a very strict captain, but made sure that her crew knew the rules of conduct. "Feymae-" She called over, addressing the twins with one name, as she started to be teleported down several decks. "Report to Louran when you get the chan-" She was cut off, but the two knew what she meant, and they stepped on the pad after her, typing in another deck. Kull had then frowned, being the only one left standing there; shrugging, he tossed Edgar onto the large teleportaion pad with Ceenos and Keruus, and activated it. The transition was quite painless as the two injured were sent to separate medical cells, and the Argonian on his own. This new area was relatively small, back to the plain white again, and the walls were even smoother and seamless than before, though not as curved; the three walls and ceiling held nothing, but one wall was a clear glass material. Through it could be seen a simple hallway, and nobody was around. At first glance, at least; in the corner of Edgar's cell was what looked to be a wadded up piece of clothing, though it moved slightly.

[8:36:23 PM] Edgar Algae: Edgar lay unmoving, for a moment, on the smooth, white surface, as he slowly recovered. He opened his eyes, and noticed that, after all, he was still quite alive and moving, although his neck hurt like if a thousand knives had been plunged into his skin; although, seeing things from the bright side, he was alive, and regaining his control on his body. First, he began feeling his arms again, and then his torso. With the help of his tail, and his hands, he managed to place himself upright. The Argonian leaned against one of the smooth walls, and waited, as his legs were still wobbly, and felt like jelly. He grunted, and gently began rubbing his neck, trying to ease the pain. He also felt somewhat disappointed at himself. He could have given more fight, he thought, as he looked upwards, trying to figure out where he was now. He sighed, as he looked down, exploring his little cell with his gaze. Suddenly, he noticed what it seemed to be a small piece of clothing on the corner, and curiously, began to slide to it. When he was close, he carefully tried touching it with his hand.

[8:50:24 PM] Sunnyshine: Suddenly what Edgar thought was fabric shifted, and revealed that it was not cloth at all, but wings. The creature who owned them turned around sluggishly. "Whaa zhu wake meh?" It moaned in an all too familiar voice; it was Scrayer curled up in a ball with his tiny wings around him like a blanket. He had been sleeping off his shock, having spent only a little time floating the the blackness of space before they picked him up. "Iz a slep." He mumbled. "Leev, leev, uh, l-" He paused in his drowsiness, and blinked up at Edgar. "Wsa?" He questioned. "Dint I eat yoh?" He pondered for a moment, and scooted up into a sitting position on the floor. "Noo-" He murmured after a while. "I spose I dint after ahl." He shrugged, rubbing his droopy eyes, and then catching the sight of Edgar's sword. He prodded his stomach, almost as if checking to see if he had room in it for another meal, and spun his head around at the Argonian with that same hungry look as before. At this time, a person came into their view at the large window, and took a few notes down on his handheld screen while observing them. He then walked away, sitting at a table across the hall, and glanced over at the time as if he were waiting for someone.

[8:57:58 PM] Edgar Algae: Edgar quickly took his sword, remembering the eater with big teeth perfectly. "I've already told you! I'm not food!" He gave a swing to his sword, to the air, as he really didn't had intentions of harming the eater. He was even somewhat relieved he was alright. Unfortunately, he seemed to have the same hunger than before. He sighed, and gave another last warning, that came as another swing, as he began to move out of reach from Scrayer, pointing at him with his sword. "Look, I don't want to hurt you, but if you try something again, I'm going to make you more than a flesh wound!" He backed at the wall, and realized he couldn't go anywhere.

[9:23:50 PM] Sunnyshine: Scrayer was eyeballing Edgar's sword as he swung it around; it looked so very tasty to him. "Ahhm-" He whined a little; still too weak to get up all the way. "Ahr you using zat ting zere?" He pointed at the weapon. "It looks yummeh." He was almost begging him, and then stifled a yawn; his long crooked teeth didn't mesh back together right, so had had to pause and adjust them so he could close his mouth again. "Iz hungr." He mumbled downwardly, and then poked his tummy to indicate that he wanted to eat something. It was then that a speaker clicked on in the cell, and a woman cleared her throat. "So, you are charged with resisting capture, and-" The voice paused. "Is this right?" There was mumbling in the back, and then she spoke again. "And attempted murder of the Sir Captain Rukuskarukas Jlaormont Deraak- Do I really have to say your full name?" The woman who was at the window had turned to the commander of the ship, and frowned when she nodded. With a sigh, she continued reading from the handheld screen that had been given her. "Sir Captain Rukuskarukas Jlaormont Deerakus Hvaarus Neoplaw Quinasular Ioanasan Lux through Merutiy the resident, eh, res- Resonant, of the Glassican Clan." She breathed a moment, her red hair falling below her shoulders in a defeated sort of way; the silver gown that she wore almost seemed out of place in comparison to the surrounding uniforms, and the other people in the hallway wouldn't stop staring as she spoke. "Ehh, how do you respond to these claims, sir?" She had then looked up from the tablet at Edgar, and frowned; knowing what sort of creature this was, but confused at how he got there.

6/27/15

[6:10:38 PM | Edited 6:10:54 PM] Edgar Algae: Edgar began feeling pity for the eater, and sighed. "Alright. You can have my sword. But it's all you are getting. And you need to promise not to eat me." He then left the sword on the ground, letting Scrayer to eat it. Suddenly, he heard a woman's voice coming from somewhere. He wasn't sure where exactly, as he hadn't noticed that behind him, a woman with red hair, the soldiers, and a bodyguard, were looking at him. He didn't began looking for the woman's voice, however, as he didn't trust that the eater would follow his promise, but he did speak. "Well... I must admit. I did took out my sword, and placed it near Miss... uhh... can I call her Ruks? I really need some time to learn her name." He paused, as he began feeling his legs were returning to normal. "But SHE started the aggression FIRST. She grabbed me by the collar, and I almost got eaten and scorched previously by this fellow here, and another guy, which was impaled by swords when I arrived. I thought she wanted to harm me too, so I decided to give a warning to her, in case she wanted to try to kill me, like the fire-spitter, and the other woman. About resisting arrest, I'm no criminal." He began standing up, slowly. "From the land I come, I'm a beloved hero, but it seems that in this dimension, things seem to be inverted. I was only walking through the woods of my home, and then, I was sucked into a portal, and I found myself inside this strange places... first there, and now here..." He was having some problem explaining his point, but he hoped that his judge would be merciful. Meanwhile, on the outside of the cell, a soldier, that was now acting as the red haired woman's bodyguard, leaned into her ear. "Perhaps he could be right, Princess. We know that Captain Rukuskarukas has a short fuse. She could be exaggerating the facts that came to this reptilian's imprisonment..." He looked up at Rukuskarukas briefly, to make sure she wasn't hearing him, and then resumed. "What is thy judgment, however?"

[7:23:09 PM] Sunnyshine: "Dis ent da non-yummeh metal, iz it?" Scrayer mumbled the question to Edgar, but then reached over to take the sword. He could tell by the smell that it certainly was the delicious sort of alloy, and he because to bite few pieces off the end of the blade; savoring the sweet metallic flavor. He was still quite sore from the ordeal earlier, but supposed that he had bounced back quicker than almost anyone else would've; after being nearly exploded, that is. He was contented, and focused all of his attention on his new treat. "Ruks is not an acceptable nickname, durae!" Rukuskarukas responded with her teeth bared, but attempted to keep her calm. The redheaded woman on the outside of the cell blinked at the Argonian in front of her as he spoke, but said nothing. "You shouldn't call me by any variation of my name; Captain or sir- No, don't even call me that!" The red-skinned one began to flame; she had just barely changed her clothes because they had gotten so scorched, but didn't care how many resources she was using up with her fire. "And in fact we shouldn't even be holding a trial; there were witnesses, and-" It was that the the ginger-haired one got past her confusion, and held up a hand to Rukuskarukas. "Be still." She declared, and a couple of the bystanders stifled gasps. "By the gods, I can't believe she said it, oh my-" A few words were mumbled around. "Ohh, she's going to get it now." A tall man elbowed his friend in the ribs, and the redheaded one huffed for everyone to be silent. Rukuskarukas had immediately directed her gaze downward apologetically, and any hint of fire had been extinguished. The ginger-haired woman had listened to the blue-spotted one, but shown no hint of recognition; she was considering what had been said by the Argonian. "Hero?" Her voice was soft and nonjudgmental now; no longer reading someone else's words from a screen. "Seems like-" She paused again, looking Edgar up and down. "You've had a lot of trouble." She stepped forward, and touched the clear glass between them; the sound in the cell cut out again as she did, so the prisoners could hear nothing else that followed. The ginger-haired one spun to talk with the people around her. "Koik-" She leaned against him in a friendly manner. "Apparently, you don't believe the allegations, but perhaps we should hear from a so-called witness?" She was looking straight at Rukuskarukas when she said this, who still held a deflated expression.

9/26/15

[5:57:53 PM] Edgar Algae: Edgar blinked a few times, observing the red-haired woman. She appeared to be kinder than anybody he had met before, at least during this adventure. As he wasn't sure what to do, he placed his hand on the glass over hers, thinking that perhaps he should reciprocate the action. Vev, nodded, as he looked at Rashina. "Yes. Perhaps, that would be the best course of action. If we had a witness, we could know the truth behind all this."

[6:24:59 PM] Sunnyshine: The cell's audio being muted, Edgar could not hear anything of what was happening outside of it. Rashina, the ginger-haired woman, shoved Vev away in a playful manner, and stared at Rukuskarukas without saying a word. The red-skinned one bowed her head a little, being as passive as her personality allowed, and extended a hand. "I hereby allow you, majesty." She hummed low, so that only a few would hear the humiliation in her voice. Rashina blinked; she had never offered such a thing before, but was grateful. She nodded, and took Rukuskarukas' hand in her own; with sudden and inexplicable force, her thoughts were thrust upon her, and Rashina drooped a little with the weight. After several moments of silence, Rashina pulled away; leaving Rukuskarukas lightheaded and dizzy. She reached for to sit on the desk on the other side of the hallway; in order to prevent fainting. "See?" She sputtered out with the last bit of strength she had. Rashina glanced over nonchalantly, being mildly unmoved by the event, and her face shone with understanding. She prodded the glass between her and Edgar again, to turn the sound back on. The speaker hummed to life, and the redhead glanced over the Argonian with an apologetic expression. "It is quite apparent to me that what the Captain has said is true-" She paused as Rukuskarukas moaned with pride. "However!" Rashina interrupted her celebration. "The charges are far too strong when the subject is taken into account. You overreacted-" She motioned to Edgar. "And she overreacted." She pointed back to the red-skinned one who was beginning to recover. "We can't know for certain until we understand this stranger's story." Rashina had turned to Vev, and was now talking with him again a little quieter than before. "I would like to search him, but I'm not sure how his mind would handle it. Perhaps we should just take him at his word."

[6:49:22 PM] Edgar Algae: Edgar touched his chin lightly, as he reconsidered his position. "Very well. I accept my fault, too. I didn't meant ever to try and harm Miss Rukskaru-Rukskar-Ruksurskarukaz? But, I am in a foreign land, and I was attacked twice before meeting Miss Rukskurskuruskas. Besides, I wasn't treated very nicely by... um... twins?" Edgar became worried than his argument was becoming more like a child who was trying to justify his actions than a prisioner defending his innocence. Vev looked at Rashina, and leaned closer to her. "I am actually not sure. He looks sturdy enough to resist, I suppose. But, as you say, it could give him some kind of mental issue. Are you familiar with this species, Princess?"

[7:12:39 PM] Sunnyshine: Rashina grimaced at Vev Koik, and let out a huff. "I thought we had an understanding-" She mumbled to him. "Really, don't call me that." She then spun to address Edgar again, and paused to consider the implications of further discussion out in the open like this. "What is your name?" She posed, waving a hand around as if to indicate a sense of confusion. "I'm Rashina." Rukuskarukas growled a little. "What's to be his punishment, then?" She asked Rashina with her hands on her hips, regaining her normal aggressive stance. Her red skin began to flame a little bit again, but she kept it under control for the moment. The ginger haired women glanced over. "I thought you had already planed that out?" She replied in a mildly mocking tone, knowing full well that she had already tried to play judge; executioner wasn't far from her mind. There was a moment where only looks were exchanged, and everybody who had not been active in the conversation glanced around awkwardly; not knowing what was going on. Rukuskarukas let out a smokey breath, and turned away with a defeated expression; she didn't have the steam to go up against Rashina again, but wasn't contented with this humiliation. During these exchanges, Scrayer had been tugging on Edgar's attire with his teeth; whether shiny metal, cloth, or leather, it didn't matter much to him. He didn't have the courage to try to eat the creature this time, but his clothing was still up for grabs, he thought. "He'll be in my charge-" Rashina's voice rang powerful as she motioned to the Argonian. "Until a suitable place can be found for him."

[7:24:50 PM] Edgar Algae: Vev suddenly realized that he had called Rashina a Princess again. He had forgotten for a moment, what Rashina had told him. "I apologize, Rashina." He had to make sure that didn't happened again in the future. Edgar noticed how Scrayer had began to munch on his clothes, and somewhat upset, after he had given his sword for him to eat, pushed him aside gently. "We had a deal, remember?" He turned his attention back to Rashina, and responded. "My name is Ed'Ei, Miss Rashina. But, you can call me by my adventurer name. Edgar Algae." He bowed slightly to her, not because he knew about her royal blood, but more as a proof that he meant no harm. "If it's alright for you, wherever you take me... I would... I would like to apologize to Ruskaruskus. If that... is... alright."

[8:18:58 PM] Sunnyshine: Rukuskarukas turned to Edgar with a hiss in her teeth, almost as if getting ready to attack him again. Rashina shot her a piercing glance, and she left the room without a work. "Your apology was accepted." The ginger haired woman declared to the Argonian while swiping her hand across the wall between them for the display to come up. There was some squiggly writing again, but she could read it, and opened up one side of the glass for Edgar to come through. "I'm afraid that's as much as you're able to get." Rashina held back a little laughter in Rukuskarukas' direction. "She believes it cowardly to outright say it." She casually stepped forward to pull him out, and tossed the grasping Scrayer back to his corner of the cell. Rashina then returned to Vev's side, and pondered to herself whether or not this was wise. This Ed'Ei fellow seemed smart, but not that smart; kind enough to give that thieving little murderer, Scrayer, his sword, but not enough to let him have anything else. It was a peculiar situation, indeed, but she supposed that at least it would take her attention away from the sheer monotony of this new life she was living. Everything had been very dull as of late; maybe this little spark of confusion and curiosity was just what she needed.

[8:26:57 PM] Edgar Algae: Edgar walked out of the cell, slowly, as he was ready to react at a moments notice. However, as he began noticing that the girl truly meant no harm, he relaxed, and extended his hand for her to greet. Vev, in the meanwhile, silently was thinking about Rashina's decision. He felt like she had took the right choice, but he, also, was doubtful about Edgar. Maybe, he was a dangerous individual, although, for now, he appeared to be unarmed. Still, Vev decided to keep a hand on the hilt of his sword, just in case. The bodyguard gave Rashina a small nod, and spoke. "What should we do now, Rashina?"

[8:38:21 PM] Sunnyshine: Rashina's thought was cut off a little, as she took Edgar's hand to shake it in a calm manner. "What would you like to do?" She hadn't shook someone's hand in quite some time, but she had remembered the custom just in time for to not make him feel overly awkward. She let her arm drop from the gesture, and motioned to usher him out of the area now, as the glass slid behind him closed. Scrayer screeched for food after them, and Rashina paused to tap the glass to mute the audio again; she didn't need his voice echoing down the halls. At this, the group of people scattered; knowing to not bother them anymore with their prodding eyes. Some mumbled, wondering what she was going to do with the lizard now, but the voices were mostly hushed as they walked down into other halls and rooms; going about their own business now. Rashina let out a sigh, knowing this whole being famous things wasn't good for her heart; she again wondered if she was even capable of being queen when the time came. Something in the back of her mind told her she wasn't, but the memory of her mother stifled any self-doubt with the thought of you can do anything you set your mind to. She shook her head clear of rattling thoughts, and glanced over at Edgar again. "What would you like to know?"

[8:49:11 PM] Edgar Algae: Edgar thought for a moment, before asking. "Well, where exactly I am? Because, I have asked before, and nobody has been very clear about my whereabouts. Would you be kind enough to answer my question?" He smiled a little bit, although it came more as him showing her his teeth. But, he hoped he could interpret that as a smile. "I also wanted to know... why that guy, and the fiery guy, wanted to eat and kill me. Who are they, and who are you?" He pointed at both Rashina and Vev. Koik didn't spoke, however. He felt that he wasn't the one to answer the Argonian's question.

[9:16:28 PM] Sunnyshine: Rashina chuckled softly, wondering where to head; their common room seemed to be as good a place as any, so she started going up the hallway. Expecting the other two to follow, she spoke with a matter-of-fact tone while walking. "I have a basic understanding of your world, so I'll try to be as clear as possible." She started. "The blackness of the sky at night, with the bright specks in it? That's what's called outerspace; it's very expansive and great and will eat you up if it catches you without some form of protection. Think of it like an enormous sea that you cannot touch, and this ship, this boat-" She motioned to the surrounding area of glass and metal, with decorations and panels that lined the curved walls. "We've built it tight to keep us from drowning in the storm outside." Rashina always liked metaphors; they made her feel more at home. "We-" She motioned to herself and Vev. "Are not part of its crew, however; just passengers along for the ride. The crew are those people you've seen in their uniforms -the grey with stripes- and they work for the UOP. An organization that attempts to protect others from ignorance and a faction of people who wish to do good creatures harm. Eaty guy and fiery guy are part of that faction of people that only look out for themselves; no matter the cost, or who they might hurt along the way." Rashina paused; this was starting to sound like a lecture. "And me? I'm just some person who likes it when good people succeed and bad people are held accountable for their actions." She chuckled sheepishly to brush off the topic altogether. "But I don't think that matters so much now; you wanted to get home, yes?" Rashina turned the corner, and opened the door to a sitting room; it lit up with bright lights as the motion sensors read her presence. She went to perch lightly on one of the couches, and continued her thought. "I believe I've heard that the device that pulled you here, the portal- you've heard of oblivion, right? The realm of the Daedra? That's what's called another dimension. Now I'm not saying that we're in oblivion, no, just in space; that blackness. Anyway, the thing that made you appear on their boat, and then on ours, is broken. We'd need to repair it in order to return you home-" She trailed off, her voice getting quieter, as if she were talking to herself now.

[9:47:54 PM] Edgar Algae: Edgar and Vev followed closely. And soon enough, thanks to Rashina's explanation, Edgar began to understand where he was. "Alright, so, I'm in some kind of... space? Of blackness, where I can die if I don't have a special kind of... armor? And, we are on a vessel which can take us through? And you are good guys? And... when I went into the portal... I was surrounded by bad guys?" He repeated everything than Rashina had said, to make sure that he understood. "Oh... well... I suppose I could stay? With you? If that is no trouble?" He smiled a bit, before he took a seat on the ground, in front of Rashina. "I have no idea... well, where to go... and I'd prefer not to cause more trouble, specially after all that has happened" Vev stood, in the meanwhile, near the door.
